Summary of Para Equestrian High Performance Meeting
 Held at the Office of Equestrian Australia on 24th March 2009


Dressage is a great opportunity for those who have aspirations of one day representing Australia at the Paralympics. Our State Dressage sub-committee is very active and provides a variety of opportunities for riders to learn new skills and develop those already obtained in order to achieve their dreams

RDAA AISA-PACIFIC VIDEO DRESSAGE COMPETITION 2009
RDA Australia is holding a 2009 Aisa/Pacific video competition for UNCLASSIFIED RIDERS (classified riders not eligable). Riders need to submit a DVD recording of the two tests in their section. Tests will be judged by three qualified Judges.

2009 RDAWA State Dressage Championships
 Incorporating the WA State Para-Dressage Championships

August 29th & 30th 2009
To be held at the SEC in conjuction with the Dressage Gala

CLASSIFIED RIDERS – Para Equestrian tests for Classified riders will be on Sunday 30 and two tests per grade will be offered – the Individual Championship test and Freestyle test for each of Grades 2, 3 and 4. The Championship Test will be held first thing on Sunday morning and the Freestyles will be held, either at lunchtime or immediately after lunch.

RUGS AND TROPHIES – Rugs will be awarded to the Champions in each grade and ribbons will be awarded to winners and placegetters in each test. The Applewood Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the Classified Young Rider gaining the Highest Percentage.

UNCLASSIFIED RIDERS – Unclassified riders may enter in Grades 2, 3 or 4. They will ride the same test as the Classified riders in the grade that they choose and will be judged at the same time. Separate ribbons will be awarded to winners and placegetters in Unclassified events.

ENCOURAGEMENT TESTS – These events will be held on Saturday 29th at 10.00 am and will be ridden in the Brigadoon RDA arena. They are specifically for RDA Centre riders. Ribbons will be awarded to winners and placegetters and the Applewood Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the Encouragement rider gaining the highest percentage.
